Meditteranian Steak

Ingredients - Single serving 8.5 grams of Carbs per serving

1- 6 oz tender steak (round steak that has been cooked in the traditional, slow way for a tender meat
¾ cup Zucchini, sliced (3.5g carbs)
¼ cup Feta Cheese, drained and crumbled (0.8g carbs) or cheddar---adjust carbs
4 Mushrooms, medium size, sliced (3g net carbs)
3 - ¼ inch thick slices Tomato, chopped(2g carbs)

1 tsp. Butter
2TBS Olive oil
¼ tsp Basil
Big Pinch Garlic Powder
Big Pinch Black ground Pepper
Big Pinch Celery seed/ or salt

In a non stick skillet, mix Olive Oil, melted butter, basil, garlic powder, pepper, and celery seed/salt together.
Heat mixture to a light sizzle, and add zucchini slices and mushrooms.
Fry on medium heat until veggies are cooked.
Add chopped tomato.
Increase heat slightly to reduce liquid - about 7 to 8 minutes.

Pour over separately heated steak. Top with cheese. Makes a great "saucy" topping, very flavorful!
